Vintage and Production Notes
The Chambourcin grape is a French-American hybrid that has found a new home on the East Coast of the United States due to its tolerance of cold temperatures and resistance to fungal diseases. The South Coast of Massachusetts enjoyed a dry summer and fall in 2017, allowing grapes to fully ripen in the warm New England sunshine. After hand harvesting, Chambourcin grapes were lightly pressed and fermented in stainless steel.
